The idea of establishing a microbrewery and distillery to showcase local history and demonstrate that tradition and modernity can go hand in hand, had been germinating in the minds of Philippe Harvey and Alain Gagnon for many years.
In June 2017 their first dream saw the light of day with the start of operations at the Beemer microbrewery, and then in March 2020 it was the turn of the Beemer distillery to open its doors. Alain takes on the role of head brewer at the brewery, while Philippe takes the helm of the distillery as distiller.
Specializing in the production of top-of-the-range spirits thanks to its local products and state-of-the-art equipment, the Beemer distillery stands out for its unique design methods, resulting in spirits with subtle, refined tastes and remarkable quality.
